Austin-based duo Deer Fellow serves up cozy indie pop/folk with “comforting yet bold musicality.” Matt Salois (vocals, electric guitar, looping, percussion) and Alyssa Kelly (vocals, violin, keys) have built a cross-genre sound that “stirs hearts with each carefully crafted note.”

As official SXSW performers and Sonic Guild grantees, Matt and Alyssa continue to grow their indie presence with support from Community Music and House of Sync. Deer Fellow released their first full-length album, Hues, in May of 2026.
